AIAA Aviation Forum 2023

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the world's largest aerospace professional society with over 35,000 individual members from 80 countries and 100 corporate members. AIAA members contribute to making the world safer, more connected, more accessible, and more prosperous.

In collaboration with The Boeing Company, AIAA initiated a partnership in 2010 to create a comprehensive event that would bring together the aviation industry to address challenges and future trends. The objective is for members to present advancements in aircraft design, air traffic management, aviation technologies, as well as discuss policy, planning, and market issues that shape the future of the global aviation industry. The event aimed to facilitate interaction among researchers, system developers, product support personnel, managers, and business developers from various sectors, including industry, government, and academia.

What to expect from the AIAA AVIATION forum

The forum and expo will be held at Manchester Grand Hyatt on June 12th to 16th. There will be 2300 participants from academia, government and private institutions, and 1000+ technical presentations covering the direction of global aviation policy, research and development, technology proliferation, cybersecurity, environmental issues, and emerging markets.

Conference Attendees and Speakers

Technology companies including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon Technologies, Gulfstream, General Atomics, Collimator and more will be in attendance.

If you are in any leadership position in aviation and aerospace, you should consider attending this year's expo as well. This includes:

Conference Topics and Sessions

In the AIAA AVIATION Forum and Expo 2023 we expect to hear from companies specializing in a wide range of fields, including:

About Collimator

Collimator is a modeling and simulation platform for engineers to design and test complex, mission critical systems in a way that is reliable, secure, fast and intuitive. Collimator provides a unified environment to design, simulate, test, and continuously upgrade autonomous systems. This is important for the world today where big data is used to train neural networks and engineering design continues through the lifecycle of a system. Reduce your risk and bring products to market faster by using Collimator to:

Design autonomous systems using a graphical UI or Python Notebook
Integrate with 3D scenario modeling tools to get a system level view of performance
Use AI and ML tools to generate synthetic data or model autonomous systems
Run millions of test cases using HPC in the cloud before implementing in hardware
Call external libraries and models like PyTorch and TensorFlow directly within Collimator
Compare real-world operation with virtual operations in real-time, continuously
